Ben Eder, Head Coach - JV Purple

Coach Eder played lacrosse for Eureka High School for four years and was also a member of the STL Samurai Travel Team for three years. He also played at Missouri Baptist University and made playoff appearances in 2014 and 2015. In 2016, Eder was chosen Second Team All-Conference midfielder along with making a national tournament appearance with the MBU Spartans. He coached the Eureka freshman team during the 2014 season before moving to JV.

Dan Funk, Assistant JV Coach

Coach Funk played at Eureka High from 2006-2009 and at Missouri State University from 2011-2013. He was a two-time Great Rivers Lacrosse All-Conference selection and named honorable mention in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association All-American list. In 2013, he was MO State’s Team Defensive MVP and captain. He plays for the St. Louis Centurions who were
Box Lacrosse League national champions in 2017. This is his sixth year coaching for the ELC.

Noah Campbell, Assistant JV Coach

Noah Campbell

Noah Campbell hails from Ohio where he played lacrosse for 4 years at Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller High School. He was named First Team All Conference, First Team All Region and his team was the OHSAA State Champions in 2017. He is currently a starting  midfielder for Missouri Baptist and was named to First Team All Conference this year.

Alex Todd, Assistant JV Coach

Coach Todd started playing lacrosse in 8th grade. He played both midfield and attack for the Eureka Lacrosse Club for four years, serving as captain his senior year. He currently plays midfield for Missouri Baptist University and will be a senior in the Fall. This
is his second year coaching for Eureka.

Griffin Trotter, Assistant JV Coach

Coach Trotter grew up in O’Fallon, IL and played four years of varsity lacrosse. He was an Illinois All-Star, leading his team to two quarterfinals and one semifinal appearance in the Illinois State playoffs. He attended Missouri Baptist University, receiving All-Conference honors as a midfielder his sophomore and senior years. During college, he coached youth for Metro Lacrosse
and was the Assistant Varsity Coach at Ft. Zumwalt. Griffin earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and works as a St. Louis County Police Officer in the Affton Precinct.
