In addition to a new fall practice schedule, Eureka entered teams in two local tournaments and invited 3 schools for an end-of-preseason Jamboree for the very first time.
During the Lindenwood 7 vs. 7 Tournament in October, the Varsity players beat Marquette (12 to 1), Rockbridge (14 to 4), St. Louis University High School (13 to 4), CBC (14 to 12) and the Titans Elite (13 to 7). They lost in a nail-biter that went into overtime under driving rain conditions in the quarterfinals.
Eureka entered two teams in the Great Pumpkin Tournament hosted by Lafayette High School on November 11th. In chilly weather, the Varsity team went undefeated, playing Ladue (7 to 2), John Burroughs/Priory (3 to 0), SLUH (6 to 1) and Marquette (15 to 2) to claim the championship against Vianney (5 to 3).
The JV team won games against Lafayette and Team 618 and lost to SLUH (4 to 3) in the same tournament.
Eureka hosted Webster Groves, Lafayette and Marquette for a Jamboree the following weekend and defeated all three teams.
